I Smell Gas in My Car...Is this Normal?

The unmistakable scent of gasoline...definitely normal at the gas station, but is it normal to start smelling gas while your vehicle is in motion? Most drivers assume that if they start smelling gasoline, it's probably normal because their vehicle runs on gas. However, beyond refueling at the gas station, you shouldn't be smelling gas while your vehicle is running.  Our modern cars are designed so that our drive is as comfortable as possible. Nobody wants to be inhaling the scent of gasoline, which is why our vehicles are made to hide the smell of fuel even as our vehicles are using it do operate.
