Customer Letter - Maple Grove
Jeff,
I usually find myself writing to companies to complain about poor customer service. Rarely will I write to thank a company, as I believe good customer service is something a customer has the right to expect.
In the case of your Brooklyn Park Service Center, I felt that it was necessary to personally thank you – and Jim and the rest of the staff at Brooklyn Park – for service that far exceeds anything I have ever experienced at any other auto service center and is beyond what I would simply call “good customer service”.
The service and attitude has always been exceptional (friendly, helpful and honest), but a recent problem illustrates just how far above other organizations your team will go.
I have a 2000 Ford Focus that died in the middle of the road one evening a couple of weeks ago. It was after hours, so I had it towed to the Brooklyn Park Center. Jim called me the next day and explained that the issue was the fuel pump. Not only did he inform me of the problem, but he also discovered that there was an unpublished warranty on the fuel pump.
Where many other less reputable places would simply have repaired my vehicle and billed me, Jim not only informed me of the warranty, but also spoke to a Ford dealership on my behalf and arranged to have the car towed there so that they could do the repair for free. Additionally, Jim also mentioned that I should request that Ford reimburse me for the costs of towing and diagnostics he had to perform. Jim had already had a discussion about this with a service person at the dealership.
I have had many vehicle repairs done at the Brooklyn Park Center – from a transmission in my truck to simple oil changes – and I will never trust my repairs to any other organization. I have also recommended Brooklyn Park to friends and would recommend them to anybody – without any reservation at all.
Please pass on my sincerest thanks to Jim and the staff at Brooklyn Park.
Sincerely
K. Adams
