Question:
I have a chip in my windshield from a rock. It doesn’t interfere with my view of the road. Should I get this repaired?
Answer:
The short answer is yes. If you repair a rock chip in your windshield then you will increase the chances that the rock chip won’t spread into a major crack. If you have comprehensive insurance coverage on your vehicle we have found that most all insurance companies will pay for a rock chip repair. However if the rock chip is in the driver’s view then the best approach would be to replace the windshield.
